Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital is located in downtown St. Louis. The hospital collaborates with the non-profit, Ukulele Kid’s Club, which offers ukuleles to sick children as a musical therapy tool. As part of the non-profit’s effort to celebrate the creation of its 10,000th ukelele, it chose a little girl receiving treatment Cardinal Glennon to be honored with the special one-of-a-kind instrument.
Spot Content Studio cameras were there to capture the moment when the hospital surprised Charlotte with the ukulele. Our crews also interviewed Charlotte, her mom, and the music therapist at Cardinal Glennon who helped coordinate this heart-warming surprise.
